The CincyHop board is continuously monitoring the ever changing situation related to COVID-19. We believe that healthcare professionals, the CDC, and other Covid-19 experts are best equipped to provide guidance on preventing the spread of a pandemic.
At this time, all participants must provide ONE of the following:
- Voluntarily submit a proof of complete COVID-19 vaccination accompanied by photo ID. Complete vaccination means a person has received all recommended doses in their primary series COVID-19 vaccine, and a booster dose when eligible. Boosters will be required 5 months after the initial Moderna/Pfizer/Novavax series, or 2 months after the single J&J/Astrazeneca. All attendees must complete their initial vaccine series (2 doses of Moderna/Pfizer/Novavax or 1 dose J&J/Astrazeneca) by July 21st, or at least two weeks before the event.
- Provide a negative COVID-19 test
Proof of a negative COVID-19 test includes PCR or at home tests:
PCR tests: Bring a printed or digital copy of a negative PCR COVID-19 test result. This test must be taken within 48 hours of each day you attend the event and must be administered by or under the supervision of a healthcare professional.
At home tests: Bring an at home COVID-19 antigen test (BinaxNOW, Ellume, etc.) to the event and complete it in front of a specified staff member. A new test will be required each day you attend the event.
All participants must leave dance spaces for water and food breaks. These breaks must be taken in well-ventilated rooms or outside.
Water stations will be set up outside of dance spaces. Doors in the dance spaces will be open to the outside to provide additional ventilation and to make it easy for attendees to quickly step outside.
We continue to monitor the situation regarding COVID-19, and we may update this policy up to and throughout this year’s CincyHop event.
We will offer refunds to any individuals who become sick before the event. If you receive a positive COVID-19 test within 7 days before the event, please contact us for a pass refund or deferment.
